Soon this segment gained strength on the web and a lot of sites showed up, all of them offering product and services discounts way higher than what the consumer is used to find on the stores. It caused the questioning to comprehend effectively the return of investment on the advertising media. To reach this goal, the author started with the exploratory research to understand all the Internet, cyberspace and cyber culture panorama. Then, it goes to the understanding to the fundamentals of social networks, social media, ecommerce and basic concepts of any group-buying website.
