Com exceção das doenças associadas a má nutrição, o acidente de trânsito possivelmente é o maior problema de saúde pública no Brasil. As estatísticas oficiais atribuem a esta causa cerca de 50 mil mortes por ano, classificando-a como primeira causa de morte entre jovens do sexo masculino. A morte no trânsito por ser violenta e inesperada, constitui um choque emocional muito grande para familiares e amigos de vitimas, na maioria do casos, trata-se da morte de um filho(a), cônjuge jovem, pai ou mãe com crianças pequenas. Vendo deste ponto de vista podemos dizer que o acidente de trânsito tende a desestruturar famílias, afetiva e economicamente. Pesa, nessas considerações, o fato de a media de idade dos mortos no trânsito ser de apenas 33 anos. A proposta é fazer uma comparação entre dois bairros de classes sociais não-privilegiados. A idéia é buscar as imagens fotográficas mais representativas das condições de vida desses dois lugares. Como exemplo, desde crianças sendo atendidas num posto de saúde até a imagem de alguns homens bebendo num boteco. Interessa o tipo de boteco, as roupas, a postura, o olhar; não interessa a intensidade da pobreza, se sofrem, o quanto sofrem, como sofrem. O objetivo é enfocar situações congruentes em ambos bairros, e colocá-las lado a lado. Os bairros escolhidos são a Agrovila São Sebastião, em Brasília e o bairro Borro em Montevidéu, no Uruguai. A Agrovila foi eleita por se tratar de um ex-assentamento agrícola e que a pouco tempo vem sendo invadida como cidade dormitório. A situação por lá não é das dez piores, mas não há dúvidas que os problemas de saúde, saneamento básico e habitação dão a esse bairro um tom de miséria. O desejo não é ser moralista e mostrar o caos, o desejo é de simplesmente mostrar o caos, o contraste entre uma vida difícil no Brasil e outra no Uruguai. Para esta tarefa, partimos de um contexto de produção audiovisual brasileiro e do sucesso da periferia nos produtos culturais até o momento da produção da telenovela, além do histórico das telenovelas desde 1990 e suas propostas de representação daquele espaço à margem da sociedade. Ainda na tentativa de identificar esta inversão, usamos os conceitos de semiosfera e fronteira, configurados por I. Lotman, e o modelo actancial pensado por J. Greimas para entendermos como se dão as relações entre as personagens da trama e seus núcleos dramáticos. Com consulta a bibliografia e auxílio de entrevistas com jornalistas e profissionais de outras áreas, esta monografia busca responder como é orientada a prática jornalística nos três jornais de maior circulação paga do Distrito Federal, partindo da dúvida sobre a publicação deste tipo de material. Diariamente, cerca de três mil pessoas se matam em todo o mundo e aproximadamente 25 destes casos ocorrem no Brasil. Para a Organização Mundial da Saúde, os meios de comunicação podem ter papel ativo no combate ao suicidio, mas o tema não tem conseguido grande atenção da imprensa. Pode-se concluir, por meio da pesquisa realizada, que os profissionais encontraram uma forma comum de atuação, fruto da cultura oral das redações, apesar da falta de debate acerca deste tema. Para isso, essa evolução foi observada em três jornais: Correio Braziliense, O Globo e Folha de S. Paulo. Nesta trajetória verificamos como surgem as pautas; como o repórter busca as fontes para o levantamento da notícia em questão e se é o repórter quem procura a fonte ou a fonte procura o repórter. Analisamos também que métodos o repórter utiliza para conseguir a informação e quanto tempo leva para isso. | This research aims to understand how the news production process takes place, from the agenda to the article published in the newspaper. To this end, this evolution was observed in three newspapers: Correio Braziliense, O Globo and Folha de S. Paulo. In this trajectory, we verify how the agendas emerge; how the reporter searches for sources for the survey of the news in question and whether it is the reporter who looks for the source or the source looks for the reporter. We also look at what methods the reporter uses to get the information and how long it takes to do so.
