Abstract A summary of the resource. Esta pesquisa visa entender como se dá o processo de produção da notícia, desde a pauta à matéria publicada no jornal. Para isso, essa evolução foi observada em três jornais: Correio Braziliense, O Globo e Folha de S. Paulo. Nesta trajetória verificamos como surgem as pautas; como o repórter busca as fontes para o levantamento da notícia em questão e se é o repórter quem procura a fonte ou a fonte procura o repórter. Analisamos também que métodos o repórter utiliza para conseguir a informação e quanto tempo leva para isso. | This research aims to understand how the news production process takes place, from the agenda to the article published in the newspaper. To this end, this evolution was observed in three newspapers: Correio Braziliense, O Globo and Folha de S. Paulo. In this trajectory, we verify how the agendas emerge; how the reporter searches for sources for the survey of the news in question and whether it is the reporter who looks for the source or the source looks for the reporter. We also look at what methods the reporter uses to get the information and how long it takes to do so.
